How SCSNA Helps Children to Shine

"SCSNA addresses my whole child - academically, physically, spiritually and musically. At SCSNA she has an opportunity to learn and grow in all of these areas. We love it!"

"Through love, support, and encouragement."

"Seth has grown slot this year. We have not only seen him grown emotionally and socially, but also spiritually. Going to school is one of the highlights if his week! We thank God for the great role that SCSNA plays in Seth's life."

"By providing incredibly nurturing teachers that help build a strong academic foundation for my children through creative activities such as hand-on cooking, multi-media art projects and dramatic performances."

"At SCSNA, my daughter has been able to learn many new creative skills, through a myriad of class art projects and in the many different forms of musical expression she has learned. Her physical abilities, including jumping, balancing, and skipping have grown tremendously over the past year as well! I think the most important area where my daughter has been allowed to Shine is in her understanding and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The ability to talk openly about our faith in class with teachers and classmates as well as the reinforcement of important Christian beliefs has been incredible! She's also made tons of friends, loves both her classmates and teachers."

"Every morning my children climb into my bed for my favorite part of the day - cuddled up sharing our thoughts. Kian, my six year old and SCSNA alum, one morning adorably opened up about our heavenly father. "God made us perfect" he said. "Absolutely!" I agreed. His little sister Jillian, my three year old who is currently enrolled, nodded with a grin. In the next breath he said "and God never lies”. Without skipping a beat Jilly proclaimed "Nope. And neither do I!" This was a fantastically sweet moment that is filed away in my memory for the days when they go off to college and leave me. When that day comes however I will have peace as they step out into their life because of their profound belief in God, kindness, emotional depth and strength. The environment that SCSNA holds is truly a blessing in that they teach these attributes without effort. Every teacher, staff person and volunteer love their jobs and it shines through in the little people they help grow in God every day. "

"His teachers have helped him to make his "energy" a positive trait."

"They have great friends made here which means they are learning how to socialize well with their peers. The teachers make the work fun and they love coming everyday! They are very proud of the work they have done in class and can't wait to show me. We often display their works of art on the bulletin board at home. In addition, they learn to sing, do gymnastics and exercise while at SCSNA as well. Above all, they are learning about God and how He loves them too while they are at school. It is so great to see them happy and excited to be learning in a great Christian atmosphere. The teachers are so caring and loving too. I don't know what we would do if we hadn't found SCSNA!"

"Miss Reagan can be a shy girl--which is especially apparent when she has to try and compete with her 13 year old brother and all his friends and sports activities. SCSNA helps Reagan be comfortable for who SHE is and where she doesn't have to live in the shadow of her older brother. This past Thanksgiving, with a table full of family and friends, Reagan raised her hand to do the Thanksgiving Dinner prayer--and what a prayer it was! She talked about being thankful to God for the food, friends and family at the table--it was heartfelt and something we did NOT expect from our shy 4 year old. She was so proud as were we! That is testament to the great work of her teachers Cathy and Marci and the comfort she feels in prayer--what a blessing! We feel truly appreciative of the work that goes on at SCSNA, the focus on faith and the positive impact it has on our daughter."

"S-Singing all the time! Lizzie loves to sing her "Jesus" songs to us.

H-Happy heart! Lizzie is excited to go see Teachers Annie and Barb every day.

I-Individual attention. Lizzie gets plenty of one on one attention from her teachers.

N-Noah's Ark Pre-school is the best!

E-Education! SCSNA provides a quality education built on a solid foundation."

"My kids love SCSNA and they shine because they have been made to feel comfortable. Also they receive support and positive feedback from the amazing teachers and staff."

"SCSNA has given Hutton the opportunity to grow into a little boy. He has developed a respect for God's work and established friendships we hope to carry on. He has learned all the basics, and more, that he needs to start his educational career next year. Hutton is a kind hearted, bright, enthusiastic young boy. SCSNA has helped foster those characteristics and allow him to SHINE!!"

"SCSNA really works with my child and allows him to reach his full potential......because he wants to!"

"Through personal attention, genuine care, and quality education. You take the time to attend to our children as individuals, rather than a "class approach". They have grown considerably this year, and to do it in a environment where they feel loved and cared and nurtured through biblical disciplines is such a blessing."

"SCSNA helps our son shine by providing a caring and nurturing environment. With preschool as the first school experience - and setting the tone for his future perception of the school experience – the caring and engaging teachers have provided him with a great foundation for the future. Recently he went through a round of separation anxiety with us and was quite upset in lunch bunch one day. We so appreciate all that his teachers did to make him feel better, including his teacher from last year coming to the room to try and comfort him. That is the type of supportive experience we want for him, in addition to all the fun he has and all he is learning."

"SCSNA helps my child shine by empowering him to be a wonderful person, guiding him to follow his heart, & acting upon what he knows to be right. The nurturing environment at SCSNA cultivates his creativity. While focusing on his strengths, he becomes a better person & student each day!"

"The teachers all make the children feel so special. They work well with all personalities and are angels. They emphasis on God has really helped both of my children to learn about God and how important he is in our everyday life. We cannot say enough great things about this preschool. It has been such a good foundation for elementary school. Truly a gift."

"My daughter, Sydney, is learning many things at SCSNA! But today she broke out with the Pledge of Allegiance and You're a Grand Ole Flag song - which I had NEVER heard her sing or recite! I was so surprised that she knew each of them! SCSNA helps her to shine by learning songs and surprising her parents with them!!!"

"The teachers are fantastic and nurture the children's self esteem."

"SCSNA has completely changed my sons outlook on school. In his old school he never wanted to  go. He wakes up now so excited to go and smiling. It is such a pleasure to see how much he is learning in the small amount of time he is in class. I am so thankful for everything at SCSNA and what it has brought to Logan’s spirit. Thank you."

"SCSNA has helped my daughter shine by learning to love others better and learning more about Jesus. Her light shines brighter since she began at SCSNA. "
